Review:
"Excellent product and service"
We have had our Leaf Guard Gutters for over a year and are very satisfied with the quality of our purchase. I am writing this review due to the exceptional service we received today for an unexpected project. Our mason suggested we move one of the downspouts to redirect rain water after installing a new walkway. I called Leaf Guard and Bruce arrived at our home prepared to complete the task requested on Saturday morning. In 5 minutes the job was done. Thank you Bruce and thank you Leaf Guard.

"Poor Customer Service, Sales, Function, and Pricing"
Like so many others, I wish I had read these reviews prior to getting LG gutter system. Most important comment is that these gutters do not work; they do not function properly as gutters. If there is any wind/breeze the water gets blown off the edge of the gutter and never goes into the trough/water capture mechanism. The salesman was pushy and rude, to the point of yelling at me because I did not answer a question with "yes or no" as he had it set up. Ruined his whole spiel. Jerk. Then the fake phone (remind you of auto salesmen?) call to get the lower price of what is still an enormous and ridiculous price, even if they worked. So far they have come to work on the issues I have called about; install was on 2/2/24. Be aware that the trap has a metal panel that will cut your hand when you try to remove the debris that does get in the gutters. I don't care what the contract says, if they don't work and they can't get them to work I will sue them. Contracts are only as good as those that sign them and selling a product that does not function is extremely egregious, well, it is criminal. Get other gutters!

"Beware!"
You need to be aware that you may encounter a problem finding a roofer when you need a roof replacement. I had several roofing companies refuse to do the work unless the gutters were removed and replaced, which LG will be happy to do for a price! They want $300 just to send out an inspector and a quote will follow, even though they have all the measurements from the original job. There was a discrepancy between their explanation of how the gutters are attached and every roofer that came to bid, but they would NOT speak to my roofer, even if I gave them permission to do so. I had conversations with James the Branch Manager and Joshua the General Manager and they were both incredibly rude and insulting. If I had to do it again, I would get gutters from a roofing company and then use that company for a new roof install when that was needed.

"Gutter protection"
The sales person Sarah was very unprofessional. She laughed constantly and very rude. She argued with us and she did not want us to check our budget. She took pictures of gutters that were not being done and told us our wood was rotten and that our gutters were not molded that they were cheap and welded. She is also very loud. She was told from the very beginning that we were not going to replace our gutters. She said that other companies lift the shingles and void the roof warranties. She tried telling us that they were bad. Then she pretended to call her boss to get the rate lower. We were not given our $100 gift card for them coming out to do the free estimate. The gift card she said we had to spend the money to get the money. Then she said we could have a $50 Dardenne gift card or a $25 Lowes gift card. This company lies on the commercial and is a joke. I recommend not to use this company.

"Ripped off"
We had them put on our house, and after the first rain we had water running between the fascia and the gutters. Our calls met with no responses, or we'll call back in 2 weeks, and they never did! Now one of the gutters has come loose from our garage. We have had to file a claim in small claims court in hopes to get our money back and replace the gutters that are not even 3 years old.

"Awesome Company!"
All the people in this company are awesome to work with. The installers, David Scott and Jake Legleiter were fantastic! They called to let you know when they were coming and they showed up when they said they would. Very professiona! Would highly recommend this company. Product is great and workers were awesome! They deserve a raise. Professional. Did what they said they would do.

"Pay attention to the consistent negative reviews!"
Like most negative reviews, I'll report that they have very pushy sales, overpriced gutters, and horrible customer service, along with questionable installation. Upon meeting with them, I was quoted $19,000 to do the house and garage. Mind you, the house is a single story 48'x28' and garage is 20'x24'. Not huge by any stretch. After I gave him a hard NO, he "made a phone call to his supervisor". Acting surprised, he got off the phone and said that he doesn't know how, but he was given permission to miraculously reduce it to $14,500 through a series of promotions and discounts and exclusive offers. I've read tons of reviews on this exact thing, and so I kept pressing. Long story short, I only winded up doing the backside of the garage and the house for $5200, after initially being quoted almost $9k for just those areas. Shady, but I kept telling myself of the few good reviews that I've read and so I pulled the trigger after whittling them down. They come and install it. I know that my standing seam roof has a drip edge that should go over the gutter, but the installers insist that it doesn't. I let it go, while telling them that I'll call them right back if water leaks on the backside. The guys that do the install are courteous enough. Well after they install it, I notice that the 48' seamless section got kinked. And you guessed it, the water leaks down the fascia. I also notice that they never delivered the splash blocks and black piping (petty, but I did pay for those). So I call them back, having trouble getting in touch with the rep and manager. Finally, we schedule a date and time for them to come out and remedy the situation. They never show up. I called them again and reschedule. Today is that day. No show again. Called and left a voicemail to both guys. Can't get in touch. You can bet I'll ride them hard until they do the job right. Here's the thing: The gutters themselves seem to be of good quality. water overshoots sometimes, but they generally work. All your positive reviews will reflect this. But there's so much negative that drags it all down. Installation was not good, business practice and pricing was shady at best, and customer service is atrocious. All in all, do not buy from them. They are sketchy, don't stand by there "workmanship guarantee" and I've read countless reviews on them failing their "no clog warranty" as well. I probably should have not gone with them. A product may be good, but if it isn't backed up by proper install, good customer service, and a solid warranty, what good is it? If you do go with them, know your contract agreement be ready for a fight. I'm ready. I'll be posting this review elsewhere as well to protect prospective buyers. Notice that the most in depth reviews are the negative ones. If people are willing to set aside their own time to detail their negative experience, that says something.

"Poor performance"
Water drip over the Leaf Guard product defeating the purpose of gutters moving water away from the foundation. Icicle problem in winter. Do not buy this product.

"Poor service from LeafGuard"
We recently had Leaf Guard install gutters and have never received such poor service from a contractor. The water is leaking behind the gutters, we have been unable to reach anyone to come out and repair what went wrong at installation. They do not return calls and today I learned that calls not answered by a live person are routed to the call center in Florida and all this call center can do is put in a request for service. All of our calls were supposed to be documented by the call center but they have no record of the 8 + calls we made. I would not recommed Leaf Guard to anyone, service after the sale does not exist for this company.

"Never had water in basement until we spend Six Thousand Dollars for leadguard"
Spent six thousand dollar for leaf guard. Never had water in basement until after we spend six thousand dollars. Now we have a basement water problem because debris collects on the gutter guards so rain water flows OVER the gutters and gets into basement. And we still have to climb the ladder to clean off the gutter guards. Caveat emptor!
