"Arrowline roofing shingles"
I have had these shingles for the last two years. We had it installed when we built our home 2 years ago. We love the color of our shingles. We have not had any problems with the shingles so far. We had a really bad ice storm two years ago and the shingles all stayed in tact and we did not have any leaks or ice dams because of the roof. The roof was not damaged and we did not have to deal with having to fix it. We have never had to fix or replace any part of the roof. Many of our friends and neighbors have had to fix or replace thier roofs because of the weather that we have here in New England. We have been quite fortunate to have bought good quality products that have been lasting us so long. I would most definately would recommend this company to others seeing that it has been working out so well for us.

"Should have stuck with regular shingles..."
These slate-look shingles ('stone' color) were installed on our garden shed. I was trying to achieve a rustic look, but on a 9' high shed, they do not look authentically like slate. I also did not anticipate the glare they would give off on a sunny day. Because we built the shed under an oak tree, the sound of acorns falling on a steel roof in late summer creates quite a din. I wouldn't mind the expense (which was quite high) if they truly looked like slate. Maybe from a distance - say, on a house roof - the result would look authentic. On the up side, I imagine this roof will last for a very, very long time.
