History

In 1994, Solec joined with Sanyo Electric, Japan to form Sanyo Solar USA, LLC. Solec was established in 1976. The Sanyo Electric Co., Ltd. which is traded on NASDAQ as SANYY, is a $24 billion company that manufactures and distributes electronics. Sanyo Energy USA Corporation, which is a subsidiary of SANYO Electric Co., Ltd and a division of Sanyo North America Corporation, markets Sanyo solar panels in North America.

Sanyo Heterojunction with Intrinsic Thin layer (HIT) solar cells are a combination of two technologies that allow for greater power generation. Even at hotter temperatures, Sanyo HIT solar panels output more power compared to traditional solar panels. HIT modules are powerful and occupy less space due to their small size. Since they are lighter, they are safer for roof installation. The Sanyo solar panels are all-weather resistant.

Warranty
